April 30, 2020: Greetings to all TherapyTime Pediatrics Families,

Oklahoma State Officials have recently declared that all people in the HEALTHY, LOW RISK category no longer need to shelter in place. Most of our patients at TherapyTime are HIGH RISK and shelter in place plus social distancing are still needed for their own protection. TherapyTime Pediatrics is increasing our Teletherapy services for the month of May. We anticipate resuming office visits June 1st, 2020.  If you have questions/concerns please leave a message on our office phone (918)-949-4390 or cell phone (918)-430-4014.

March 27, 2020: TherapyTime Pediatrics will be temporarily closed from March 30th to April 30th, 2020. We will continuely assess, adjust as necessary, and keep you updated. We love you all and want you to stay safe and healthy; therefore, we feel closing is necessary during this time of our national and state emergency. We are implementing limited teletherapy via a triage system. If you are not contacted for this and want to give information we are unaware of or have an urgent concern, please leave a message at the office (918) 949-4390 or cell (918) 430-4014.

March 12, 2020: TherapyTime Pediatrics mission is providing exceptional services to children. Delivering on this means many things but includes continually monitoring public health issues. We are closely watching the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as it evolves and are making decisions about business operations and precautionary health measures with the intention of caring for everyone like family. This is a rapidly evolving situation and like you, we are monitoring throughout the day and using guidance provided by the CDC, local and state public health authorities as well as input from our network of providers. As part of our commitment, we have taken steps to elevate our attention beyond our already high standards of sanitation, cleaning and employee hygiene. We realize you may have growing concerns and want to share what we are doing and give you tips on things you can do, too: THE BASICS: 1. Handwashing is the best self-defense for all of us against the spread of germs. As a backup, we have additional antibacterial hand sanitizer and wipes available. 2. Everyone should stay at home if you, your child or anyone in your household is not feeling well, especially if you have a fever, are coughing or sneezing or are experiencing shortness of breath. If you arrive at therapy or develop any of these symptoms, you are asked to leave until symptom free for 72 hours. 3. Do not come to therapy for 14 days if you have traveled to any country identified as having widespread, ongoing COVID-19. ADDITIONAL STEPS WE ARE TAKING: **Our sick policy now requires any child, parent or employee be symptom free for 72 hours prior to being at TherapyTime Pediatrics, until further notice. **Any staff member who is ill or shows symptoms of being ill will be sent home. **Your therapists are being extra vigilant to ensure every mat, bench, toy or piece of equipment used during your child’s session is clean and safe to use. **We encourage you to use the hand washing sink on your way in to the treatment area, additionally we have prepared another hand washing area at the sink in the orthotic room to eliminate a line in the hall and provided a step stool for our smaller ones. Our therapists will also practice hand washing with patients as indicated (especially important if they touch their face often) but also incorporates balance, motor planning and other therapeutic areas needed in these life skills. **We also have made additional hand sanitizing stations throughout the clinic plus sanitizing wipe readily available for use. **You may have seen Ashlynn, our intern from ORU. Her task list and schedule have been modified to help us PLUS we have added another intern, Aaliyah, who will join us each day for 3 hours during high attendance. We are adding labor to go above our already high level of sanitation and cleaning protocols, especially of high-touch surfaces. We are grateful to be small clinic, where we feel we can continue to take care of you like family, just as you have come to expect from us. We will remain vigilant and take every precaution necessary in order to keep you and our employees safe. - Lanette & Monica and the entire staff of TherapyTime Pediatrics
